FitDate introduces verified, active adults by how they train, when they train and where. Date, find a training partner, or meet people at hosted sessions across the UK.
Our first evening together, hosted by the FitDate team. Come alone, leave with a training partner, or a date.
One profile, three modes. Switch any time. Your profile shows what you do, how often and how hard, so the first conversation is easy.
Meet people who get why you're up at 6am. Profiles lead with your sports, schedule and goals.
A spotter, a running partner at your pace, or someone to hold you to that 7am class. Friendship only.
Social runs, spin, bouldering, padel and hikes with partner clubs and studios. Groups take the pressure off.
Link the fitness app you already use and FitDate shows a verified activity badge on your profile. Members see that you train, never your routes, home location or raw data.
Planned integrations for launch. Linking is optional and you can disconnect at any time.
FitDate is for every adult who trains, whatever your gender or who you're looking for. Tell us who you are and who you'd like to meet, and change it whenever you like.
After our launch social we're taking FitDate on the road with hosted runs, classes and socials across the UK. Dates are provisional until booking opens.
Join the waitlist to hear when booking opens in your city.
Most FitDate meetings happen in gyms, parks and studios. We design around that, and every member will pass a highly effective age check, the standard Ofcom sets for dating services under the Online Safety Act.
We're opening city by city. Join the waitlist to hear first about launch dates and FitDate events near you.
No. FitDate is for anyone who makes activity part of their life, from a first 5k to an ultra. Profiles show your level so you meet people at a similar stage.
We open in 2027, city by city. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when your city opens, along with invitations to launch events like our social at the Iver Tavern on 4 December.
No. Train mode is for friendship and training partners, and many group sessions are open to all members.
London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol and Glasgow first, then the rest of the UK. Waitlist numbers decide the order.
Linking an app is optional and needs your explicit consent. We only use it to confirm you're active and show a badge. Routes, locations and health data are never shown to other members or sold, and you can disconnect and have the data deleted at any time.
Reserve your place using the form in the events section. Places are limited, so we'll email you to confirm your place and the start time. Come alone or bring a friend.
Plain-English summaries of how FitDate will work. FitDate is operated by Fit Date. The full legal versions, with our registered address, company number and ICO registration number, will be published here before launch.
Who we are. FitDate (fitdate.co.uk) is operated by Fit Date, the data controller for your information. Our registered address and data protection contact will be listed here at launch.
What we collect now. For the waitlist: your name, email, town, main activity, how you'd like to use FitDate and your preferred plan. If you choose, your gender and who you'd like to meet. For events: your name, email, optional mobile number and whether you're bringing a friend.
Why, and our lawful basis. We use your details to run the waitlist, plan which cities to open first and email you about launch, based on your consent. We use event registrations to manage the guest list and contact you about that event; we only send other marketing if you opt in. Gender and who you'd like to meet can reveal your sexual orientation, which is special category data, so we only store it with your explicit consent.
When the app launches. We'll also process ID and face-check data to confirm your age and identity, and, only if you link an app, activity data. These are special category data and we'll ask for your explicit consent first. We use specialist verification providers and will name them in the full policy.
How long we keep it. Waitlist data is deleted within 12 months of launch if you don't join. Event guest lists are deleted 3 months after the event unless you've opted in to hear about future events. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, take a copy, and withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to us, and to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Sharing. We never sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run FitDate, under contract, and with authorities where the law requires it. Any transfer outside the UK will use approved safeguards.
Who we are. fitdate.co.uk and FitDate events are operated by Fit Date.
Eligibility. You must be 18 or over, live in the UK, use your real identity and pass our age and ID checks. One account per person.
Events. Registering reserves a place, subject to capacity, and we'll email to confirm. Any ticket price is shown before you register. Please let us know if you can't come so we can offer your place to someone else. You must be 18 or over and may be asked for ID at the door.
Paid membership. Joining the waitlist is free. If we introduce paid membership, the price (including VAT), renewal terms and your 14-day right to cancel will be shown clearly before you pay.
Our right to suspend. We can suspend or close accounts that break the community guidelines or put others at risk.
Your statutory rights. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under UK consumer law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and you can also bring a claim in the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.

Advertising and third-party tracking cookies are only set if you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.
Be real. Use recent photos of yourself and your real age. No fake or duplicate profiles.
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, body-shaming or unwanted sexual messages or images.
Never ask for money. Requests for money, gifts or investments are a common sign of a romance scam. Report them straight away.

Meet safely. Meet in public first, tell a friend where you're going, and report anything that worries you. We review every report.
